KATHRYN (KATHY) DIANA DYCK
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kathryn (Kathy) Diana Dyck on January 25, 2026, at St. Boniface Hospital. Up until then, Kathy was at home surrounded with visits from family and friends.
For Kathy, family was the most important part of her life. She leaves behind her husband Ivan (Larry) Laurence Leavens, sons, Ian (Jema) Leavens and Andrew Leavens, grandchildren, Owen and Norah Leavens, her sister Hilda (Robert) Drome, brothers, Peter Dyck and Paul (Monica) Dyer, niece Jennifer (Darren Bunce) Drome and nephews, Christopher (Kaori) Drome and Noah Dyer. She was preceded by her mother Katharina Dyck, father Jacob Dyck and brother Kornelius Dyck.
As requested by Kathy there will be no funeral service. A private celebration with family and friends will be held at a later date.

Dear Larry, Ian, Andrew and families, we are so saddened by the passing of Kathy so soon and so young. She was friendly, a great neighbour and awesome cook and of course a very kind lady! We enjoyed our visits while doing our walks with our dogs and of course the street parties where we enjoyed her apple cake so much! She will be missed by all of us.
